Artist's Statement
My artwork seeks to re-interpret the reflecting and refracting of light from
surfaces in unique ways
Oil painting in bright vibrant colours applied broad brush strokes through to
monochrome works with loose reference to photo images of the River Lee
Navigation between Bow Locks to the Thames, close to my home in East London.
Lurking within that water is the darkness of pollution and I seek to reflect this
dichotomy between visually life affirmation and the chemical destruction of
Lonson'd water.
In addition to my paintings and mixed media works, a three-dimensional aspect is
used to explore the Woe of H20 of Thames Water.
